Eastside High School Prom 2026 Guidelines and Dress Code

Ticket Information
- $100 per person
- Tickets must be purchased through GoFan by March 11, 2026
- Students will be able access the ticket link after receiving approval for completing the Digital Prom Packet
- Tickets cannot be transferred to another attendee--if your date changes, then your packet must be updated and another ticket purchased
- No refunds will be given for any reason
2026 Digital Prom Packet
- Students must complete the Digital Prom Packet via Google Forms (IMPORTANT: Students should log into Google using their NCS login credentials)
- Students must see Mrs. Shaughnessy or Ms. Lynn in the cafeteria to have their Digital Prom Packets reviewed before school or during lunch on January 28, February 11, February 25, or March 4
- Do not purchase tickets until the packet is approved
Outside Date Information
- Students bringing outside dates must complete a hard copy visitor permission form and turn it in with a copy of their date’s photo ID
- The visitor permission form is available in the front office and through the Digital Prom Packet
- Outside dates cannot be in middle school, under disciplinary action, or over the age of 20
- EHS students are responsible for their date’s conduct and attire
- Outside dates must present photo ID at check-in
- School personnel have the final authority regarding admission to prom

Prom Attendance Requirements
- Any EHS senior who plans to attend Prom MUST pay their senior dues through GoFan
- Students and guests must be in good standing at EHS and their school
- Students cannot have excessive in-school suspensions or two or more separate out-of-school suspensions
- Students cannot have excessive unexcused absences
- Guests must present a driver’s license or school photo ID as identification for admission
- No person over the age of 20 will be admitted to the prom
Dress Code Guidelines
Any student or guest whose attire is in violation to the published dress code may be prohibited from entering the prom and will not be entitled to a refund. Also, anyone altering their attire after entering/during the prom and violating the dress code will be asked to leave. It is the EHS student’s responsibility to inform guests of the dress code. Students may, but are not required, to submit photos of their dresses for optional approval through the Digital Prom Packet.
· No excessive exposure of the midriff or back
· Front necklines shall not be lower than a line formed between the right and left armpits
· Strapless dresses are allowed if they meet the front neckline guidelines
· Dresses, hemlines, and slits must be fingertip length
· Sheer panels must not expose areas that should be covered according to the guidelines above
· Suits and tuxedos must be worn with a jacket, a tie or bow tie, and a dress shirt
· Shirts must always be worn; vests must have a shirt underneath and remained button to the second button from the collar
· Polo-style shirts, t-shirts, and denim pants are not permitted
· Pants should fit properly on the hip; sagging pants are not permitted
Behavior Requirements
- All prom attendees must adhere to the code of conduct in the 2025-2026 EHS Student Handbook
- Absolutely NO alcohol/drugs or vaping/tobacco/nicotine is permitted at prom
- Students are not allowed to re-enter the prom upon leaving
- Students and/or guests must comply with requests from the staff and chaperones--no rude or vulgar language or disrespect of adults will be tolerated
- Students and guests must vacate the premises at the conclusion of the prom
- All attendees are subject to search
2025 EHS HOMECOMING DANCE

ADMISSION:
- Tickets for EHS students must be purchased through Gofan.co and will not be sold at the door. At time of purchase, the attending EHS student's name will be required for completion of sale. The attending EHS student's submitted name will be recorded and listed for admission. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Do not transfer purchased tickets or purchase a transferred ticket as only listed attending EHS students notated at the time of purchase will be admitted. No refunds will be provided. DO NOT PURCHASE TICKETS FOR NON EHS STUDENTS UNTIL OUSTSIDE DATE FORM IS APPROVED.
- Ticket sales will open Thursday, September 4 and will close Tuesday, September 23 or WHILE SUPPLIES/TICKETS LAST (We expect the event to sell out again this year)
- Outside date forms will be available in the front office beginning September 4 and are due in the front office for review NO LATER THAN MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 15 AT 3:30PM. Outside dates MUST be approved BEFORE a ticket using a special gofan.co link for the outside date can be purchased. Photo ID required for all NON-EHS outside dates.
- All attendees will check-in upon arrival and check-out upon departure behind the school in the EHS Courtyard.
- The NCS Code of Conduct will be enforced at this school event and students in poor attendance or behavior standing may be restricted from attending. All attendees are subject to search and screening at the event.
- No bags are permitted. Attendees may bring a small clutch bag that adheres to the dimensions of 4.5" X 6.5" however all items are subject to search.

No two-piece dresses that excessively expose midriff
No see-through or sheer fabric that exposes areas that should not be exposed
